I own a 2005 Yamaha Road Star. In 2008 I went on a road trip to N. Ga. One day it got up to 105 deg. Not knowing what ethanol or alcohol did to gas, it made no difference to me until my engine got so hot the carburetor overflowed and my engine quit. I inquired about it and found out that alcohol in gas lowers the boiling point, and the fuel dumping on the motor could have set the bike on fire just from the heat of the motor. I went on another trip this year and found Star Tron at a local bike shop in Dothan Ala. I tried it. Went to Burmingham and back to Dothan, both days were 100 deg. I noticed that my gas mileage had increased by at least 2mpg by using this product. I bought another bottle and proceded with my trip. 6000 miles later my gas mileage increased again. In Fla. before using Star Tron I was getting aprox 43mpg. After using Star Tron for those 6000 miles my gas mileage is aprox. 47mpg. Starting was easier and less taxing on the starter. Engine performance was smoother also. I have recomended this product to all I know who have bikes with carburetors. It's amazing that it could do so much for the bike. It is a pleasure to ride again without the worry of the bike catching fire. I will continue to use it till my bike falls apart.

I’ve got a 2001 Kawasaki Concours but I haven’t had my bike on the road for over a year (thanks to someone who ran a stop sign in 2008 but that’s another story). Needless to say, even with (another brand of) fuel stabilizer in the tank and, later, fresh gas, the engine was running poorly. I couldn’t put the bike in gear without the engine stalling. I heard about your product via an online ad and I took a look at your site. After reading the testimonials, I was admittedly skeptical. I searched for additional reviews and found them to be overwhelmingly positive so I decided to give Star Tron a try. I put some treated gas in the tank and after 15-20 minutes of idling, I tried putting the bike in gear and the engine didn’t stall. I went out for a short ride and the while the engine ran, it seemed underpowered and struggled to get going from a dead stop. The next day I went out for a longer ride (about 2 hours). By the end of the ride, the engine was purring beautifully. Any hesitation I was experiencing in 1st gear was completely gone and the response was great throughout the power band. The engine is running better now than when it was after I had the carbs professionally cleaned back in 2007. Long story short, I’m a believer. I was hoping for fair to decent results after two or three tanks of gas. I got great results after just ½ of a tank of gas. I couldn’t be more impressed. Thanks for such a great product!

I am not a big believer in advertising. In fact most advertising that you see these days is outright untruths. I must admit that when I read all the information on your product I was really sceptical. I thought that I would give it a try anyway. I hoped at least it would be a good fuel stabilizer. I filled up my bike with good quality gas, put an ounce of StarTron in it and took off. I wasn\'t even sure what I expected to happen. I started riding and within about 25 miles I thought that I could maybe feel a difference. I kind of put it aside as being all in my mind. Then today as I was on my way home (75 miles since putting the StarTron in my bike) I realized for the first time since I bought my bike that there was no buzzing in my hands (which is usual with my bike engine type) My bike run better, smoother and idles better than it ever has.I am really impressed with this product and will continue to use it in all my engines. Thanks for "Truth in advertising"...

I bought your product yesterday, at the recommendation of a local motorcycle shop. I was basically looking for a fuel stabilizer that could counteract the effects of the ethanol in our fuel, when we put up our bikes for winter storage. I had understood that Yamaha also had an additive (Marine Division)that could neutralize ethanol\'s effects in long-term storage of gasoline, but the shop only had your product. The parts guy knows me, and told me they felt that yours was a better product. The rest is history. I read your little brochure that night, and came away with the impression that a lot of pretty bold claims were made. But I decided to test it out the following day anyway, figuring that if it would start cleaning the fuel system, as the brochure claimed it would, we could put up the bikes for winter with cleaned out fuel systems. My wife rides a DR650 Suzuki, I ride a 2008 KLR 650. The bikes have 15,803 and 2806 miles respectively. I added 1 ounce of your product to the KLR\'s ~5 gallons of gas, and 2/3rds of an ounces to the DR\'s full tank of 3.4 gallons. We started our ride. I did not expect much, if anything to manifest itself. I have never, in my 37 years of driving (owned 29 cars) and riding (owned 11 motorcycles), gotten any noticeable results out of anything in a can or bottle of fuel additive. Nothing. Ever. And I have tested a lot of them. All I cared about now was how to mitigate the bad effects ethanol has on carbed bikes over the long winter. We started our ride. After about 5-6 miles, I thought I noticed that the bike was running smoother in a higher gear with a lower RPM (with the engine NOT shuddering, surging or bucking). I figured it was my imagination, perhaps psychologically looking for a difference that I figured would be there, just because I added a can of something-or-other to the fuel! We got to our interim destination in about 8 miles, then continued riding. After about another 10 miles, I noticed that I was using the next higher gear than was usual for the speed that I was doing! Normally, I listen to the engine revs and sense the chassis vibrations, and determine that I am in the RPM range to carry the next gear for the road conditions ahead. Then I shift. Standard operating procedure! But I found myself in 4th gear, at 2400-2500 RPM, with the bike running impossibly smooth! No bucking, shuddering or surging! This was on level pavement. I was even able to coax a small amount of acceleration (without downshifting) with a tiny bit of twist to the throttle! There is no way I have ever been able to do this before. The engine would buck, shudder and plainly let me know that it was not happy. KLR owners out there know exactly what I am talking about. (My bike is 100% bone stock). I even approached a minor grade in 5th, at the same speeds, and was able to twist the throttle a tiny bit to maintain my speed. The motor did it with no problem! I knew then that it had to be your gas additive. No doubt in my mind whatsoever. I though about asking my wife if she noticed any effect on her bike. But I figured she wouldn\'t notice any difference, not seeming mechanically minded and sensitive about an engine\'s running attributes. But I asked her about it anyway, later on. Boy was I wrong! She said that her bike was also running super smoothly in the next higher gear than she always previously used for the same speeds! In fact, in one turn, she thought she had downshifted from third gear, when she was actually downshifting from fourth! This is exactly what happened to me. I took a 105 degree corner at 20 MPH in fourth gear, with the engine pulling away with perfectly smoothness with moderate acceleration!! I had thought I was in third gear approaching that corner. Before I knew it, I was trolling some of the country dirt roads at 30 MPH in 4th gear, which I have never done before! It was quite an adjustment (read embarrassing) to have to rethink our shifting points all over again. It was that dramatic. Additionally, my hands never got numb once during the 86 mile ride! This was impossible and unthinkable. At least 5 separate times during the ride, I tried to detect the vibrations that normally come through the grips. My hands usually numb up about every 10-15 miles at higher RPMs. I was wearing non-padded leather gloves. I usually take my hand off tthe grip for about 5 seconds, and the blood flow comes back! I determined that the vibration level of the left grip was ZERO, and the right grip\'s vibrations were 98% non-existent. I was essentially blown away by all this. My wife and I were also in agreement on the issue of way more engine smoothness than usual at very high RPM\'s on the faster roads we were on. And all I wanted was an ethanol mitigator. Essentially, I still can\'t believe the change in the motor\'s smoothness, and the vibration reduction of about 90-95% in the grips. Your product has worked wonders to the extent that I am still taken aback by the fact that I need to relearn shift points! One really has to experience that to understand it. The effects were so overtly obvious! I have drag raced at the track, ridden enduros, amateur motocross, and dabbled a bit in trials riding. I know how to shift! The paradigm has now changed for me, and it is due to your product. Now let\'s hope it does the same thing with mitigating ethanol\'s nasty effects in gasoline storage! Best regards.

I've had great results using Star Tron gas treatment. The product was recomended by a person I purchased
my BMW motorcycle from. I have a fleet of older cars, and I've seen better fuel economy and they all seem to be running better now that I use Star Tron. We are also using this for our outboard Honda engine.
Thanks again,

I wrote you an email back on October 22, 2007 concerning how much your company backs up your fuel treatment Star Tron. My concern was that I own a motorcycle that has 6 carburetors and I really did not want to clean them out ever again due to the E-10 they are putting in our gas. You wrote me back telling me that you backed up your product so much that you would pay for my carburetors to be cleaned, no problem there! I am a service manager for a motorcycle shop and we charge $102.00 per carburetor to be cleaned. I also told you that I would pay $100.00 for a bottle that would keep my gas from breaking down and keep the fuel fresh until the next riding season. Well, let me tell you. Your product works like no other I have seen and used. My bike has been sitting untouched and with only a battery tender on it since October. I brought it out on March 17, 2008 and the bike fired up, all carburetors were working as they should with no signs of any fuel break down in the carburetors. I rode the bike for about 50 miles and the bike ran just like it did before I put it up for the winter. I have to tell you that with the ethanol issue we have here in Maryland and bikes with carburetors are having a lot of issues with fuel break down caused by the ethanol. We have done about three times the carb cleans then the last 2 years and we hold the ethanol accountable for this. I just want to say that your product just works and I am proof of it. I will continue to use and sell this product with 100% confidence. I am so happy to be able to stand behind your product and let everyone know that you do make a product that works great!! Thank you from all the motorcyclist who use your product and are enjoying the sport and not waiting in line at a service shop… Vernon Moyer Service manager Heyser cycle center www.heysercycle.com |
