QUESTION: I would like to know if the star-tron enzyme treatment will work with 100% methanol. I run that in my race car, and have the same problems of water in fuel.
ANSWER: I'm afraid not. StarTron's enzymes are specific to a very narrow range of hydrocarbons, they don't work on methanol or concentrated alcohol's such as E-85. StarTron is great for preventing water problems in E-10, where 90% of the gasoline suffers from water issues related to the 10% alcohol content. |
