I first heard of Star Tron at a web site (Mytractorforum). I have an older Bolens tractors,a Green Machine trimmer and a Homelite chainsaw. I have been running treated gasoline in all of these engines. When I first used treated gass in the tractors I noticed some black soot when the engine was under load, but it cleared up when running the second tank of gas. The trimmer did not show the soot but did run much better with the treated gas mix. The chainsaw starts much easier even if it sits for a long time. As a hobby, I repair small engines on lawn mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. I always put in some treated gas when repairing them. They start much better after running for a short while. I am also putting the Star Tron in the gas for our 55 Yahama outboard engine on a 24 foot pontoon. It runs much better and a lot cleaner.

I am not a big believer in advertising. In fact most advertising that you see these days is outright untruths. I must admit that when I read all the information on your product I was really sceptical. I thought that I would give it a try anyway. I hoped at least it would be a good fuel stabilizer. I filled up my bike with good quality gas, put an ounce of StarTron in it and took off. I wasn\'t even sure what I expected to happen. I started riding and within about 25 miles I thought that I could maybe feel a difference. I kind of put it aside as being all in my mind. Then today as I was on my way home (75 miles since putting the StarTron in my bike) I realized for the first time since I bought my bike that there was no buzzing in my hands (which is usual with my bike engine type) My bike run better, smoother and idles better than it ever has.I am really impressed with this product and will continue to use it in all my engines. Thanks for "Truth in advertising"...

Your product is incredible!
When I first heard of it I decided to do a little investigating. My problem was two fold. first, I have a small 1996 mecury 15hp electic start outboard motor that I use for hunting in the winter months. I don\'t get out often, so my fuel has to sit for some time in between outings. When the second season started I took my boat out, only to have the engine die out not five minutes into my run. This can be quite dangerous considering there are no other boats out there at this time of year and being stranded is not recommended. I finally figured out the cause was water in my fuel, along with it having broken down somewhat sense sitting for more than six to eight weeks. I decided to look into finding a water separator to help fix my prolem. The short of it is, there is nothing out there that will work for my situation. Over the Holidays I got to talking with some old buddies about my problem and asked what they thought could be done. One said Stabil, then another mentioned Startron. I had already used stabil before with no real affects good or bad, but I had not heard of Startron so I went looking. I found it at a Marine store and the salesman seemed to know a good bit about it. I read the card on the bottle and coudn\'t believe what I had read. I thought, if this works it will be a miracle and the answer to all my problems. I got so excitd about it that I bought an 8oz. bottle to try for myself. Now for my second problem. I have a 2003 Toyota 4runner Limited V6. The engine is built to run on high octain fuel and was built before Ethanol hit the market. When I bought the truck it ran beautifully, smooth and quiet, with plenty of pep and power. As time has gone by and the miles have gone up, just over 70,000 on it now. The poor thing knocks and you can hear the valves float when you step on the gas. It had gotten exstreamly loud and I hated it. I take very good care of it, but just cringe when I step on the gas because it has gotten so loud compared to what it used to be. I can not run regular fuel during the winter when they change to winter fuel and even the midrange octain isn\'t much better. Ok, back to my purchase. I came home and later that night I went out and added 2 teaspoons to what was left, about 2 1/2 gallons of old gas, in my outboard tank. The next day I added it to my truck when I filled it up, a little over an ounce of treatment to 22 gallons.(I bought the deisel) Let me tell you, no sooner did I pull out from the pumps I thought I noticed a difference, but thinking it was my imagination I put it off. Well the next day as I drove around doing my usual, you would not believe the difference in the way my truck ran. The valves don\'t float, there is NO knocking and power like I only remembered. It runs so smooth and quiet now, just like when it was new and I am not kidding or exaggerating. Now I put it to the test. I put it 4 wheel drive where I usually drop two tenths of a gallon on my in-dash fuel meter gauge, My meter actually went higher, no lie. Then when I usually pull the boat trailer I also lose 2 tenths. Not this time. My milage stayed the same. This stuff is almost too good to be true. Now, today I took the boat out with what was left of my old gas, just to see if there really was a difference and if this stuff really could breath new life into old fuel. Guess what, it did!!! My motor has never run so well. It fired right up and idled with out missing a beat. Once I blew out the old gas in the carbs, it practically quit smoking and didn't die out on me once. I can not thank you guys enough for what you have given me. This is the only product I have ever used that actually works. Not only does it work, it goes beyond that, it does everything you say and then some. It is truly amazing. I can now drive and play with a piece of mind I never had before, what a gift. I just had to write and tell you what has happened and that this is just after 224 miles! I highly recommend this product to any one, especially if they think they are having fuel problems give this a try, it works.
Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Dan Horning

I bought your product yesterday, at the recommendation of a local motorcycle shop. I was basically looking for a fuel stabilizer that could counteract the effects of the ethanol in our fuel, when we put up our bikes for winter storage. I had understood that Yamaha also had an additive (Marine Division)that could neutralize ethanol\'s effects in long-term storage of gasoline, but the shop only had your product. The parts guy knows me, and told me they felt that yours was a better product. The rest is history. I read your little brochure that night, and came away with the impression that a lot of pretty bold claims were made. But I decided to test it out the following day anyway, figuring that if it would start cleaning the fuel system, as the brochure claimed it would, we could put up the bikes for winter with cleaned out fuel systems. My wife rides a DR650 Suzuki, I ride a 2008 KLR 650. The bikes have 15,803 and 2806 miles respectively. I added 1 ounce of your product to the KLR\'s ~5 gallons of gas, and 2/3rds of an ounces to the DR\'s full tank of 3.4 gallons. We started our ride. I did not expect much, if anything to manifest itself. I have never, in my 37 years of driving (owned 29 cars) and riding (owned 11 motorcycles), gotten any noticeable results out of anything in a can or bottle of fuel additive. Nothing. Ever. And I have tested a lot of them. All I cared about now was how to mitigate the bad effects ethanol has on carbed bikes over the long winter. We started our ride. After about 5-6 miles, I thought I noticed that the bike was running smoother in a higher gear with a lower RPM (with the engine NOT shuddering, surging or bucking). I figured it was my imagination, perhaps psychologically looking for a difference that I figured would be there, just because I added a can of something-or-other to the fuel! We got to our interim destination in about 8 miles, then continued riding. After about another 10 miles, I noticed that I was using the next higher gear than was usual for the speed that I was doing! Normally, I listen to the engine revs and sense the chassis vibrations, and determine that I am in the RPM range to carry the next gear for the road conditions ahead. Then I shift. Standard operating procedure! But I found myself in 4th gear, at 2400-2500 RPM, with the bike running impossibly smooth! No bucking, shuddering or surging! This was on level pavement. I was even able to coax a small amount of acceleration (without downshifting) with a tiny bit of twist to the throttle! There is no way I have ever been able to do this before. The engine would buck, shudder and plainly let me know that it was not happy. KLR owners out there know exactly what I am talking about. (My bike is 100% bone stock). I even approached a minor grade in 5th, at the same speeds, and was able to twist the throttle a tiny bit to maintain my speed. The motor did it with no problem! I knew then that it had to be your gas additive. No doubt in my mind whatsoever. I though about asking my wife if she noticed any effect on her bike. But I figured she wouldn\'t notice any difference, not seeming mechanically minded and sensitive about an engine\'s running attributes. But I asked her about it anyway, later on. Boy was I wrong! She said that her bike was also running super smoothly in the next higher gear than she always previously used for the same speeds! In fact, in one turn, she thought she had downshifted from third gear, when she was actually downshifting from fourth! This is exactly what happened to me. I took a 105 degree corner at 20 MPH in fourth gear, with the engine pulling away with perfectly smoothness with moderate acceleration!! I had thought I was in third gear approaching that corner. Before I knew it, I was trolling some of the country dirt roads at 30 MPH in 4th gear, which I have never done before! It was quite an adjustment (read embarrassing) to have to rethink our shifting points all over again. It was that dramatic. Additionally, my hands never got numb once during the 86 mile ride! This was impossible and unthinkable. At least 5 separate times during the ride, I tried to detect the vibrations that normally come through the grips. My hands usually numb up about every 10-15 miles at higher RPMs. I was wearing non-padded leather gloves. I usually take my hand off tthe grip for about 5 seconds, and the blood flow comes back! I determined that the vibration level of the left grip was ZERO, and the right grip\'s vibrations were 98% non-existent. I was essentially blown away by all this. My wife and I were also in agreement on the issue of way more engine smoothness than usual at very high RPM\'s on the faster roads we were on. And all I wanted was an ethanol mitigator. Essentially, I still can\'t believe the change in the motor\'s smoothness, and the vibration reduction of about 90-95% in the grips. Your product has worked wonders to the extent that I am still taken aback by the fact that I need to relearn shift points! One really has to experience that to understand it. The effects were so overtly obvious! I have drag raced at the track, ridden enduros, amateur motocross, and dabbled a bit in trials riding. I know how to shift! The paradigm has now changed for me, and it is due to your product. Now let\'s hope it does the same thing with mitigating ethanol\'s nasty effects in gasoline storage! Best regards.

I've had great results using Star Tron gas treatment. The product was recomended by a person I purchased
my BMW motorcycle from. I have a fleet of older cars, and I've seen better fuel economy and they all seem to be running better now that I use Star Tron. We are also using this for our outboard Honda engine.
Thanks again,

"I purchased a 1978 Trojan F-32 cruiser and found I had a fuel problem in one tank. After checking on fuel polishing and even thinking about a new tank and the cost and hassel involved with fuel disposal, I ran across your product online. I decided it was worth a try and soon after putting it in both tanks, I noticed the engines started quicker and ran smoother. However, I still had one tank that would shut down the engine if I used that tank. We worried most of the season and did not use that tank. Then at the end of the season we decided to try and burn up that fuel so we could remove the tank and replace it over the winter. Well, low a behold, we were able to use up all the fuel in the tank and the engine never had a problem. We decided not to remove the tank and there has not been a problem since. We have had friends with the similar problem and have turned them on to your product that we have dubbed \"Viagra of The Sea\". Now we regularly use your product in anything we have that burns fuel."

We use only Star Brite products to keep our apparatus clean, also I can't say enough about your Star Tron product. We had nothing but trouble with our portable pumps, fans, ect. Not running properly with this new E-10 ethanol. We run Star Tron in all our equipment and have not had a problem since. Thanks for producing a great product.
ADDENDUM - Added 4/24/09
Your Star Tron product has been outstanding. Since we started using this in our small engines we have not had any fuel issues. Before we started using the Star Tron treatment we had tried several other products that we just were not satisfied with. In the Emergency Services business we need to know that when are equipment is needed it will perform flawlessly. At this time I would like to thank each and every person in your organization for producing such a wonderful product. I feel without this in our fuel the possibility of a fuel related problem is imminent and lives would be at great risk.

Over the weekend we went to Captiva Island. One of the residents had an older Jeep he rarely uses and it wouldn’t keep idling without a foot on the pedal.
I told them to wait right there, I came back with my blue crack, dumped in two ounces, and within 60 seconds the thing was purring like a kitten. It obviously loosened up some sort of clog in his fuel filter. He’ll be buying a case of the stuff.

I got some advice from you prior to going to Florida for Feb, March and April. I have a 17 Mako that is 18 years old and had some water in the tank that was showing up in my fuel filter bowl as a brown goo about the consistency of ketchup.
This likely a result of E10 that got in my tank because of faulty labeling or my not paying attention at the pump.
I used the boat every day for last 3 months and at your suggestion added a double dose of Star Tron to begin with and then the recommended amount after that.
Prior to Star Tron I would drain the bowl after every other use to clear the goo. After adding Star Tron I never needed to touch it; the bowl remained clear.
I am a believer and have passed this success story to all of my fishing buddies. It is not often that a product lives up to the hype but yours really does.
Thanks, Bill |
