Technology for Today's Fuels.

Star Tron® Enzyme Fuel Treatment is a revolutionary new fuel additive using enzyme technology to enhance the performance of all gas engines.

Eliminates Many Problems Caused by Ethanol Fuel
Ethanol / E10 fuels increase the amounts of water and sludge in your fuel tank. Star Tron breaks down this excess water and sludge to sub-micron size allowing it to be safely burned away during normal engine operation. Star Tron helps prevent phase separation and fuel gelling, eliminating ethanol fuel problems.
Dramatically Increases Fuel Economy
Star Tron® cleans the entire fuel delivery system, removing performance robbing gum and varnish deposits while modifying how gas and diesel burn, this results in more complete and uniform combustion and therefore better fuel economy.

Removes Carbon Build-Up
Carbon deposit formation is a byproduct of unburned fuel in the combustion process. Star Tron's enzymes will break down and disperse these deposits restoring engine performance as it also modifes the fuel to prevent future carbon deposits.

Stabilizes Gas
Gas breaks down rapidly which results in lost power and poor performance. Star Tron stabilizes the fuel chemistry for up to two years in gas..

Star Tron® is based on fuel and enzymes... Not cleaning chemicals...

WARNING!

Do not confuse Star Tron® with emulsifiers (ALCOHOL or DETERGENT based) which may cause additional problems.

Questions to ask your mechanic before using an emulsifier based additive:

  • Does it make sense to add MORE alcohol to solve a problem caused by alcohol?
  • Where does the water go when I use an emulsifier?
  • Will I get "jelly/goo" in the bottom of my fuel tank?

ALERT!

2-Butoxyethanol - ethylene glycol monobutyl ether

MANY additives use the ingredient (listed on their MSDS) ethylene glycol monobutyl ether which goes by many other names including 2-Butoxyethanol or Butyl cellosolve.
Wiki:

WHAT IS ethylene glycol monobutyl ether?
“An inexpensive solvent with modest surfactant properties.” (EMULSIFIER by definition*)

WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
“Used in paints and surface coatings, cleaning products and inks. Acrylic resin formulations, asphalt release agents, firefighting foam, leather protectors, oil spill dispersants, bowling pin and lane degreaser, and photographic strip solutions. Other products containing 2-butoxyethanol as a primary ingredient include some whiteboard cleaners, liquid soaps, cosmetics, dry cleaning solutions, lacquers, varnishes, herbicides, and latex paints. It is the main ingredient of many home, commercial and industrial cleaning solutions.”

*DEFINITIONS
SURFACTANT is an agent used to create an emulsion and therefore this is an emulsifier. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surfactant

EMULSIFIER Is a chemical agent used to suspend one incompatible material in another. Generally, any ingredient used to bind together normally non-combinative substances, such as oil and water.
